Such a pleasure to speak with artist and curator of the Zhou B Art Center & 33 Contemporary, Sergio Gomez on his brilliant show Breakfast with Sergio! I have been a long time fan of Sergio’s video series and since starting my own artistic journey, Sergio’s insight has been instrumental in pushing me to elevate my own practice. So, for me, having the honor of speaking with him about positivity during lockdown, maintaining your artistic practice through unforeseen circumstances, and the adaptability of the human condition was a truly humbling experience.
